As a valued supporter of Autism Delaware, we wanted to reach out to you to share some very exciting news: Autism Delaware and the Lower Delaware Autism Foundation (LDAF) have agreed to merge.
The combined organization, which will be known as Autism Delaware, will unify our support, services, programs and advocacy for people and families throughout Delaware who are affected by autism.
The merger provides many benefits, including the following:
- The newly combined organization will continue LDAF’s summer camp, summer swim and golf programs.
- More services for adults with autism in southern Delaware. Our goal is to extend our POW&R program to southern Delaware by July 2012.
- We will speak with one voice on behalf of all those in Delaware affected by autism.
- We will operate with increased efficiency as we expand services and programs.
We are confident that combining the forces of our two strong organizations, including the dedicated volunteers of both LDAF and Autism Delaware, will only help advance our goals throughout the state. If you have any questions about the merger, please call us at (302) 224-6020 (302) 224-6020 or visit us on the web at www.delautism.org.
